Just off the Last Fling Labor Day Parade route, “Grand Marshal” Loaves & Fishes Community Services keeps on trucking with opportunities to support the nonprofit agency that’s been around since 1984.

Join Loaves & Fishes Community Services in downtown Naperville for a 35th anniversary celebration in support of those who seek hunger and poverty relief in our area. Guests attending Night to End Hunger will enjoy dinner, fine wines, live entertainment and the opportunity to bid on wonderful auction items. Together we can make a difference and help thousands of local families who face hunger and financial insecurity. The fundraiser is sold out, but individuals can donate and participate for the online silent auction at e.givesmart.com.

Free Health Fair offering flu shots, blood sugar screenings, vision tests, oral cancer screenings, blood pressure checks, talks on health issues and brief consultations with optometrists, dentists, physicians and orthopedic specialists. All services offered free as a way of introducing the community to a free health clinic for anyone without health insurance offered twice a month at the Islamic Center of Naperville. Come learn more about the clinic, meet some of the doctors and get a free health assessment. Sponsored by ICN and Community United Methodist Church of Naperville, joining hands for a healthier community.

Casey’s Foods fires up the grill on Saturdays and Sundays – 11AM–2PM | Cost varies with purchase
Casey’s Foods – 124 W Gartner Rd, Naperville, IL 60540
Casey’s Foods located at Naperville Plaza will be firing up its grill every Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 2PM through October, weather permitting. Choose from a variety of options, including burgers, brats, tacos or the weekly special. Add a dollar and get chips and a drink. It’s great food, at a good price, in a fun atmosphere.

In collaboration with Edward Foundation, Dr. Sangita Rangala will host an Indian dance event, “Sacred,” as fundraiser for Care Center. The Care Center was established in 1990. It serves a nine-county area, the FBI, military bases and Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Rangala has been Medical Director of the Care Center since 2001 and has been on 24-hour call for most of the past 18 years.
