Remember always wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds BEFORE preparing any food. Songs to sing? Well, the perennial favorites of “Happy Birthday to you” and the “ABC song” are always good, but my personal favorite? The chorus to “Hotel California” by the Eagles. For more details and info on washing your hands, here’s the direct link to the CDC’s website: www.cdc.gov/handwashing/when-how-handwashing.html.

Add cloth-covering facemasks to practice of social distancing

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has made the recommendation to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus when in public, the use of clothcovering facemasks by the general public while maintaining 6 feet of social distancing. The recommended cloth facemasks are NOT the N95 masks which should still be reserved for first responders and medical workers who have direct contact with coronavirus patients.
