Naperville Municipal Band presents ‘Audience Request’ – 7:30M | Free of charge

Venture over to Central Park with friends and a picnic for Naperville Municipal Band Concerts at 7:30PM on Thursdays in Central Park. Bring a blanket or chairs or find a seat on a bench. The July 28, 2018, concert features a program of special requests from the audience! Since last spring, Conductor Ron Keller has been accepting special song titles that will be performed this week. Tonight’s raffle is hosted by FROST Gelado/BBM, Inc.

Naperville Community Concert Center is located in Central Park in downtown Naperville. Note summer band concerts on Thursday evenings and Kroehler YMCA will host a movie night on Sat., July 28.

Trolley Tours of Naperville – 10:15 and 11AM | $8-16
Trolley Stop on Jackson Ave. at Eagle Street Naperville, IL 60540
Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville. This one-hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlight’s Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories. Meet at the ‘Trolley Stop’ on Jackson Ave. at Eagle Street by 10:50AM. $16 per person, all ages. There is also a Children’s 30-minute Trolley ride at 10:15AM for $8. Trolley is fully enclosed and will run rain or shine, no refunds. DING! DING! Info and tickets at www.napervilletrolley.com.

Footloose – The Musical – 7:30PM | $10-$20. Child-$10, Senior & Student-$15, Adult-$20.
Naperville Central High School – 440 West Aurora Ave. Naperville, IL 60540
An enthusiastic young cast brings high energy to a show that will keep your toes tapping long after the final curtain. Teenaged Ren settles in a rural town that has a strict ban on dancing, which Ren hopes to lift with the help of the other local teens. Two weekends of performances: July 27-29 and August 3-5. Sunday shows are matinees. Performances are held at the Naperville Central High School Auditorium, 440 W Aurora Avenue. Enter at Door #24, on the WEST SIDE of the school campus. Look for the signs. Naperville Farmer’s Market – 7AM-noon | Free
5th Avenue Station – 200 E 5th Ave, Naperville, IL 60563
The Naperville Farmer’s Market is a rain/shine event that is held every Saturday starting June 2 and ending October 27 in the parking lot of 5th Avenue Station. This is a pet-free market. Over 25 vendors that offer anything from produce, to meat, to flowers, along with hot coffee.

Casey’s Foods – 124 W. Gartner Rd. Naperville, IL 60540
Caseys Foods located at Naperville Plaza will be firing up its grill every Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 2PM through October, weather permitting. Choose from a variety of options, including burgers, brats, tacos or the weekly special. It’s great food, at a good price, in a fun atmosphere. This week’s Saturday special, 8AM to 7PM, Casey’s Pork Tenderloin (Plain)  only $4.98/lb or Pork Tenderloin (Marinated) only 5.98/lb. and Casey’s Cauliflower Mashed only $4.99/lb​., while supply lasts.

Celebrate Magic and Wizarding from 3-7PM this Saturday, July 28. Stop at Main and Jefferson in front of Two Bostons to pick up a Downtown Naperville Alliance schedule of magical offerings. Discover lots of surprises starting with a free gift for the first 500 visitors, a scavenger hunt with surprises along the way, bubbly potions and wand making, too!  …What’s more, all day before 3PM, Nichols Library (Webster between Jefferson and Jackson) is waving its wand to present free magical events earlier in the day. After the merriment, enjoy an outdoor movie in Central Park at dusk where the original The Incredibles movie will be featured, in partnership with the Kroehler Family YMCA.

Movies Under the Stars – 7:30PM | Free

Enjoy a movie under the stars in Central Park, located behind the Kroehler Family YMCA, in downtown Naperville. Bring the family and a blanket or chairs to relax in. The Incredibles will be screened shortly after dusk.

Look for the entrance to the DuPage County Fair at Manchester Road & Beverly Street. Hours are 8AM to 11PM daily.

Final Day DuPage County Fair (July 25-29) – 8AM | One Price Admission
