Update, April 20, 2024 / Pickup Plants Day is May 2 / Volunteer Help Appreciated
To PN: This year’s VFW Plant Sale was absolutely the biggest sale ever. Thank you for your part in making this happen. We really appreciate all the publicity.
Our “Pickup Day” will be Thursday, May 2, from 1-5 PM. At that time we will have extra flowers for sale that people can buy. You can shop for Mother’s day!
We will also need help to sort the flowers and separate them into individual orders and help the customers load them into their cars from 9AM to 5PM. We appreciate all the volunteers no matter how much time they give us. —Marcy Maughan
Original Post, March 5, 2024 / Orders now are being accepted for the 23rd Annual Naperville VFW Benefit Plant Sale, just in time to purchase flowers for spring plantings and natural beauty in the good old summertime. Orders will be accepted until April 5, 2024, for plants to be picked up on May 2, 2024.
The annual plant sale features several new offerings this year as well as old favorites.
A colorful variety of flowers, specialty grasses, herbs, vegetables, and accessory plants are available in different sizes of hanging baskets, flats and pots.
This year’s order Form (with QR code) as well as 69 colorful images of the available selection of plants are featured online.
Proceeds from this fundraiser go directly to the Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 in support of the many Veteran programs and local community causes supported by the Naperville VFW (What We Do: www.napervfw3873.org/index.php?id=131)
Place orders by April 5, 2024
Orders are due at the Post no later than Friday, April 5, 2024.
Pick up plants May 2, 2024
Plant pick up at the Post is set from 1PM to 5PM on Thurs., May 2, 2024. The VFW Post is located at 908 Jackson Avenue.

Also note that much-needed volunteers are welcomed to help, especially on pick-up day, May 2.
