The Government Finance Officers Association of the U. S. and Canada (GFOA) recently informed the Naperville Park District that the District has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting award for its 2019 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This award recognizes organizations that go beyond the minimum requirements of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to prepare a report that communicates clearly with full disclosure.
The District has received the award annually since 1991. Additionally, the District has been assigned an Aaa bond rating from Moody’s Investor’s Services since 2008, indicating the continued financial strength and stability of the Naperville Park District.
