Original Post, March 24, 2020 / A generous donor has offered Loaves & Fishes Community Services a matching funds opportunity of $10,000. Gifts made this week through Fri., March 27, will be matched up to $10,000, so you have the opportunity to double your impact. This includes both direct donations and virtual food drive gifts.
As an essential service, Loaves & Fishes is continuing to distribute food. Struggling families need these services more than ever, and for many, Loaves & Fishes is their primary source of food. Given the deteriorating economic situation, Loaves & Fishes expects to see a substantial increase in the number of clients needing food. At the same time, they are seeing a substantial decrease in their food supply.
