Friends and Families of Loaves & Fishes,
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, in order to best serve our clients under the circumstances, Loaves & Fishes Community Services will be modifying its services, programming and special events.
The low-income families that we serve may be especially impacted by the economic and/or medical consequences of the coronavirus and the public reactions to this situation. Given our mission to provide healthy food and impactful programs to promote self-sufficiency, we are working very hard to continue food distribution through this challenging time.

Here’s what you need to know
Food Distribution
In response to the coronavirus outbreak, Loaves & Fishes is modifying our food distribution model to limit the potential transmission of the virus and keep our community safe, while still ensuring that people get the food they need. Food will NOT be distributed inside our building. Effective immediately, we will be distributing pre-packed boxes of food through a drive-thru model. Learn more
How You Can Help
We have had a lot of inquiries from our community over the past several days regarding how people can help. We are anticipating larger numbers of clients due to the economic effects of the virus. Please consider donating today through our Virtual Food Drive. Your dollars will directly fund our food programs. Donate here. Thank you so much for your generosity.
If you are healthy, and want to volunteer, please contact our volunteer coordinator volunteer@loaves-fishes.org. We need assistance in packing and distributing our pre-pack boxes of food.
We are looking for businesses that can donate a large volume of (approx. 16X20) boxes for our food distribution. If you can help with this, please contact Cary Gilkey at cgilkey@loaves-fishes.org.
New Date for Chef Showdown is Wed., June 10
We were very excited with plans to host you in mid-April for our Naperville Chef Showdown. However, in accordance with coronavirus guidelines, we have rescheduled the event. The new date is Wed., June 10, 2020. If you have already purchased your tickets, they will be good for that date. Click here for more information.
