On Sat., Sept. 21, 2019, at approximately 12:30AM, Naperville Police Officers were dispatched to the 1300 Block of Danada Court for the report of a home invasion. The caller reported that an unknown black male entered the residence through the open garage door, threatened the residents, and fled with an undisclosed amount of currency.
No one was injured during this incident and the suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.

Naperville Police respond to attempted purse snatching on S. Main Street
On Fri., Sept 20, 2019, at approximately 8:35PM, Naperville Police Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of South Main St. for the report of an attempted strong-arm robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned that a woman and her husband were walking together on Main St. when they were approached by two white male subjects, described as in their 20’s, who approached them on foot.
One of the males pushed the female victim to the ground, while attempting to pull her purse from her grasp. The victim was able to maintain possession of her purse, which led to the suspects fleeing on foot southbound on Main St. The female victim suffered minor injuries as a result of being pushed to the ground. No weapons were implied or displayed.
Additional officers responded to the area and attempted to locate the two suspects with negative results. The investigation is ongoing.
