Summer Place Theatre Announces Mid-Season Show

-

The Summer Place, Naperville’s community theatre since 1966, will be performing “My Three Angels” for one weekend only, June 28-29. This play will be the second production of the season, sandwiched in between “South Pacific” from June 7-15 and “Mama Mia” from July 19-August 3.

The play, on which the Humphrey Bogart movie “We’re No Angels” was based, tells the story of a kind-hearted shopkeeper in French Guiana whose family is being cheated by a scheming cousin. Three convicts working on the roof decide to help the family and work a Christmas miracle.

Summer Place Theatre prides itself on presenting quality entertainment featuring your neighbors. The cast of “My Three Angels” includes: Renata Bielskis, Patrick Daly, Don Gingold, Alisha Keane, and Jordan Vulich of Naperville; Megan Conrad and Dan Knauf of Aurora; Mike Duffy of Westmont; Jason Sheldon of Oswego; and James Turano of River Forest.Produced by Susan Vulich, the play is directed by Craig Gustafson, with Sound Design by Jeff Sand, lighting by Samuel Lee, Set Design by Charles Martin and props by Sharesa Uher Moffit and Sara Blankestyn.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office before each show. See summerplacetheatre.org for details.
