March 1, Film: North Central College’s Center for Global Education presents another feature in its “Sustaining the Globe Series” with a screening of the documentary film Marina of Zabbaleen at 7:30PM Thursday, March 1, in Smith Hall located at Old Main, 30 N. Brainard St. This 2009 film, directed by Engi Wassef, tells the story of Marina, a seven-year-old girl living in Cairo, Egypt, whose waste management system has produced one of the highest recycling rates in the world. March 24, Music: The Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes will host the A Cappella Festival, a regional competition drawing in the best vocal groups from around the country at 7:30PM Saturday, March 24, in the Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E.
