Quigley’s Irish Pub is located at 43 E. Jefferson Avenue in downtown Naperville.

To help raise awareness during Public Safety Month, Quigley’s Irish Pub will host a fundraiser from 4PM to 10PM Thurs., Oct. 6, that will benefit Illinois camps for young burn victims.

Firefighters in bunker clothes will help “pass the boot” to collect funds to help send youngsters who have experienced injuries from burns to a special and unforgettable one-week camp next summer.

For everything you want to know about “I Am Me” Camp and other fire safety education programs, stop by Quigley’s, located at 43 E. Jefferson Avenue.

Youngsters will have opportunities to talk to local first responders who serve the Naperville Fire Department. A firetruck will be parked in front of the pub.

“Naperville Firefighter Dan Smith will be there,” said owner Nancy Quigley. “Dan’s still talking about the youngster named Zach in firefighter gear who came to the Public Safety Open House last Saturday.”

A portion of the day’s sales from the dinner hour also will be donated to the burn camp fund, Quigley said.
