Before the advent of television, radio drama captivated audiences around the country and the globe. On Halloween night in 1938, New Yorks Mercury Theatre Production of The War of the Worlds narrated and directed by Orson Welles had frightened audiences convinced, that an alien invasion of Earth was actually taking place as they listened in. This script pays homage to that night 78 years ago as the NNHS Tech Crew brings you a live 1930s style radio performance complete with live sound effects that will give you goose bumps. Come join us for a night of chills and thrills, sights and sounds, as we raise funds to attend the United States Institute of Theatre Technology Conference in the spring of 2018.
