Above / Enjoy the sunshine, cooler temperatures and colorful wildflowers during a walk around the pond in May Watts Park. Look for the green heron, recently spotted for the first time along the shoreline by Wendy Schild.

Brats at Kreger’s / 10AM to 3PM Fridays and Saturdays / Kreger’s Brat and Sausage Haus, 606 N. Ellsworth / Stop by for lunch, conversation and camaraderie. Plan a barbecue and pick up handcrafted bratwurst for the grill. Plan ahead for Labor Day Weekend grilling, too. And be sure to tell Bill Kreger that you know his wurst is the best. Football season is here!

Retirement Reception for Dr. Ron Keller, Director Emeritus NMB/ 2:30PM to 5:30PM / Public open house welcomes the community to stop by for a brief time to share memories with Ron Keller and the Naperville Municipal Band at the Judd Kendall VFW Post, located at 908 W. Jackson Avenue. Light refreshments, including cake and coffee, will be served. A cash bar will be available. Tables will be set up so guests can fill out cards with hand-written memories of their experiences that include Dr. Ron Keller and the Naperville Municipal Band.
