Updated, June 25, 2023 / Day two of the 2023 Naperville Woman’s Club Fine Art & Artisan Fair presents a time to paint squares that will help complete the mosaic mural.
Early Sunday morning, the sunflower welcomed nine more squares to be complete.
Original Post, June 13, 2023 / “Chase the Dream” by Gregory Frederic has been the selected painting for the 8×12′ interactive mural to be featured at the 2023 Naperville Woman’s Club Fine Art & Artisan Fair, June 24-25 at Naper Settlement. The painting will be broken down into 216 8×8″ sections for visitors to paint from a sample. Each completed section will be stapled to an 8×12′ wooden frame – eventually bringing the entire painting will come to life.
Mentored by other successful Haitian artists, Gregory Frederic custom mixes most of his acrylic color to create the desired depth and vibrant synergy within each piece
He describes his work as modern eclectic with a bit of surrealistic cubism.
In addition to 100 artists and artisans exhibiting at this year’s juried fair, the Naperville Woman’s Club will offer food, drinks and music. Children can express their creativity painting at the Petite Picasso area and be entertained by a balloon artist. There also will be a caricature artist and a silent auction.
