Pick any day in February to enjoy a love song

-

BrightSide Theatre, Naperville’s only professional theatre performing in the historic downtown district, has announced “Love is in the Air”!

In the middle of a pandemic, in the heart of the winter months, why not share the warmth of love songs? Every day in February, on BrightSide Theatre’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/BrightSideTheatre), a love song will be posted, performed by some our favorite BrightSide Theatre actors. After all, love is in the air, organizers said.

“This is a project we came up with to engage our audience even though we can’t be together safely during the pandemic,” said Artistic Director Jeffrey Cass. “It also is a great way to give our performers/artists the opportunity to showcase their talent. Everyone is anxious to return to in-person performances.”

Executive Director, Julie Ann Kornak, even gets the chance to sing.

“I had so much fun recording a song and sharing my voice with our audience,” Kornak added. “We just wanted to share our love of music! We simply hope these songs will bring joy to all who listen!”

An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
