2019 KidsMatter Volunteer Fair is set for October 9 / Fort Hill Activity Center
Local nonprofit agencies and organizations will be on hand to showcase their volunteer and advocacy opportunities, enabling volunteers to find service venues that match their interests, major, career goals, and schedules. This free fair is open to families and all students from area elementary, middle, high school, and colleges; serving as an ideal opportunity for youth groups from faith communities, scout troops, and other youth organizations to choose service projects.
Participating nonprofits are all locally-based groups such as the Naperville Park District, Feed My Starving Children, DuPage Children’s Museum, Naperville Public Library, Naper Settlement, Western DuPage Special Recreation Association, the Morton Arboretum and more.
Each nonprofit organization will have representatives available to discuss opportunities they have available for both students and families to positively impact the lives of other people and animals for a better future.
