Public Naperville Trolley Tours every Friday!

One-Hour Historic Trolley Tour of Naperville! Every Friday at 11AM during June, July, and August. (no tour on 8/16). $18 per person. Children’s 30 minute Trolley ride! Every Friday at 10:15AM during June, July, and August (not available on 8/16). $8 per person. Trolley Tours meet at the “Trolley Stop” on Jackson Avenue at Eagle Street (Kiddie corner from address of 305 Jackson Ave., Naperville). Online tickets at napervilletrolley.com.

In conjunction with the Naperville Heritage Society’s 50th Anniversary, Naper Nights sets the stage for three summer weekends in June, July, and August of nonstop music and celebration. Visitors are invited to experience six nights of rock while enjoying cold craft brews and wine, delicious food, and music for the generations. July 19’s list of rockers includes Simply Billy, a Billy Joel tribute, opening for The Belfast Cowboys, a Van Morrison tribute. July 20 pays tribute to a major milestone in American history, the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Featuring Space Face, a David Bowie tribute, opening for Think Floyd, a Pink Floyd tribute, this galactic line-up will include Think Floyd playing the chart-topping album “Dark Side of the Moon” in its entirety. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Gates are open 5-10PM, continues Saturday. Visit www.napernights.org for details.

Weather permitting, Centennial Beach is now open daily for the season. Alert! Adult float is every Saturday and Sunday, 9AM to 10:55AM.

Find a Jumbo Riverwalk Duck disguised as Waldo at Busey Bank in Naperville Plaza. Stop by the bank and ask, “Why a duck?” Remember the Riverwalk Duck Race in the DuPage River is Aug. 14. And the annual Tour de Independents to find Waldo is now in progress, raising awareness to support local independent businesses and to shop locally whenever possible.

Casey’s Foods fires up the grill on Saturdays and Sundays – 11AM–2PM | Cost varies with purchase

Casey’s Foods located at Naperville Plaza will be firing up its grill every Saturday and Sunday from 11AM to 2PM through October, weather permitting. Choose from a variety of options, including burgers, brats, tacos or the weekly special. Add a dollar and get chips and a drink. It’s great food, at a good price, in a fun atmosphere.

Naperville Municipal Band Concerts & Y Family Movies Nights in Central Park

Naperville Municipal Band celebrates its 160th year during its annual summer concert series at 7:30PM Thursday evenings through Aug. 15, 2019.  Admission is free of charge. Strike up the band that’s been here quite some time!

YMCA presents its outdoor family summer movie series in Central Park. Admission is free of charge. Next up enjoy “Sweet Life of Pete” on Sat., July 27, “Incredibles 2” on Fri., Aug. 9, and “Aquaman” on Fri., Aug. 23.
