Park District’s 2019 Spring Tulip Bulb Sale Set for May 17

-

The Naperville Park District’s annual tulip bulb sale will take place on Friday, May 17, beginning at 8AM. The bulbs for sale will include those that bloomed this spring along the Riverwalk, in front of the Park District Administration Building, and at other Park District locations. Bulbs will be sold for $3 per dozen on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers should plan to arrive promptly as bulbs sell quickly.

The tulip bulb sale will take place at the Riverwalk pavilion near the Park District’s parking lot at 320 W. Jackson Avenue. During the sale, Park District staff members who manage the Riverwalk flower beds will be available to answer questions about planting and storing the bulbs. A quick instructional video is available on the Park District’s ParkTalk Blog. Helpful tips also can be found online at www.wikihow.com/Store-Tulip-Bulbs and extension.illinois.edu/bulbs/planting.
