City set to host mandatory workshop for groups seeking CDBG and SSG funds

Above / Community Development Block Grant and Social Services Grant Pre-Application Workshop is set for Thursday, August 23, in Meeting Room B, Lower Level of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street. Project applicants seeking CDBG and SSG funding for programs must attend. 


NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The City of Naperville is seeking applicants for 2019 project funding for the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and the City-funded Social Services Grant (SSG) Program.

On Thursday, August 23, 2018, the City of Naperville will host a Pre-Application Workshop and Information Session for organizations interested in applying for CDBG and SSG funding. The session will be held in Meeting Room B of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., from 10AM to noon

This meeting is mandatory – organizations interested in applying for 2019 grant funds must have a representative attend this meeting.

Topics to be covered include an overview of both programs and their priorities along with eligibility, funding criteria, the application process, submission requirements and deadlines.

Applications for the 2019 programs will be due by noon on Fri., Sept. 28, 2018.
