Pet Words of Wisdom – 2017 is underway

-

I’m so excited to face the new year!

There is always so much going on at Dog Patch. Taking a moment to look back at 2016, I’m happy to report that our rescue program has been very successful. 2016 represents an enormous amount of work by so many different people. Rescue, transport, vets, Dog Patch. All put in time and effort and money to get all of our animals homes.

By the numbers, in 2016 Dog Patch placed 440 dogs and 70 cats/kittens into their new homes. We are saving lives. We are making a huge impact on the lives of animals and owners alike. I love what I am privileged to be able to do!

We are hard at work looking forward, getting off to a great start for 2017. We have been examining every department in the store very carefully, then searching for the best products available to help keep your pets happy and healthy.

Look for new foods, treats and toys throughout the store. Look for our great rescue animals just waiting for you.

Don’t forget our outdoor friends in winter and during National Bird Feeding Month in February, a time to heighten awareness that birds also need fresh water during this frigid days. And remember, we always have a 10 percent senior discount on all of our wild bird seed.

We carry a wide variety of food, treats and supplies with the knowledge to get the right products in the right animals.

All of your shopping with us supports our rescue efforts. I recognize and thank everyone who is in our corner. I just can’t wait to get 2017 started!
