WDSRA: Spark a movement with a simple share

-

You might not be familiar with us unless you’re directly connected to our programs or services, but we’re determined to change that. Why? Because even if you don’t need our support personally, you may know someone who does.

Imagine this: What if a simple action on social media could profoundly and positively impact someone’s life? The truth is, it can.

In an ideal world, every family and individual who could benefit from social and recreational programs would find their place within the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA) family. This includes our inclusion services. As the marketing manager for WDSRA, I might just find myself without a job if every person who could benefit from our services knew about us. But, honestly, that would be an amazing reason to no longer be needed.

So, how can we kickstart this movement? Let’s focus on social media. At WDSRA, we aim to take our followers on a journey through our posts. You’ll see the diverse range of programs we offer, showcasing athletes in competition, artists expressing themselves, actors shining on stage, and so much more. Our posts depict the genuine joy on the faces of young adults traveling with friends, experiencing a social life that’s uniquely theirs. Amidst it all, you’ll witness new friendships blossoming and existing ones flourishing.

If you delve into the comments, you’ll find the pure happiness of parents seeing their loved ones thriving and living life to the fullest. Each day brings forth new dreams and accomplishments.

Whether through captivating photos, engaging posts, or heartwarming comments, you’ll witness a world of opportunities unfolding. Individuals find not just a place to belong but a platform to reach their full potential.

Now, back to eliminating my job. Just imagine if everyone liked, commented, or shared WDSRA posts. Through the immense power of social media, every family and individual in Naperville would become aware of WDSRA. With that level of awareness, everyone who could benefit from our programs would be reached.

That would be truly incredible!

You can spark this movement by spreading the word. Simply like, comment, or share on any of our social platforms. Find us at:

Let’s ensure that everyone who could benefit from what we offer knows that we’re here for them. Together, through the simple act of sharing, we can make a tangible difference in people’s lives, one social media post at a time.
