On Monday September 19, 2016 at approximately 1:51 p.m., the Naperville Police and Fire Departments responded to the area of Wehrli Road and Lisson Road for a single vehicle crash involving a 2003 White Honda CBR motorcycle.

The initial investigation indicates that the Honda CBR, driven by 29-year-old Victor Torres of Naperville, was northbound on Wehrli Road heading towards Lisson Road when the driver lost control and crashed.

Torres was transported to Edward Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Due to the nature of the incident, Wehrli Road was closed for approximately two hours while members of the Naperville Traffic Unit trained in accident investigation and reconstruction investigated the crash. The crash remains under investigation at this time.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is asked to contact the Naperville Police Department’s Traffic Unit at (630) 420-8833.
