Microsurfacing of Naper Boulevard and 95th Street will begin July 5

Above / Be prepared for road work, weather permitting, when several streets within the City will receive “microsurfacing” treatment through September 2016.

The City of Naperville informs residents and motorists that microsurfacing on Naper Boulevard from 75th Street south to the City limits as well as 95th Street from Route 59 to 248th Street is expected to begin Tuesday, July 5, 2016, weather permitting.

The work will require intermittent lane closures that will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route to avoid delays along the stretch of road for the two-week duration of the project.

Most work overnight except prepping July 5-8

Most work will be conducted in the two areas overnight from 7PM to 6AM. However, the contractor will have to do work in preparation for the microsurfacing treatment from 9AM to 3PM on Tuesday, July 5, through Friday, July 8.

Naper NotifyThe City will take necessary steps to minimize any inconvenience to area residents, businesses and motorists. In addition, information will be available on the Construction Season Map that is accessed on the Projects in Naperville page of the website atwww.naperville.il.us/projects.

Microsurfacing of additional neighborhood roads throughout the City will begin the week of July 18, weather dependent.

As with any construction project, the City of Naperville would like to remind motorists to stay alert, use caution and abide by all traffic regulations when driving through construction zones.
