Continental Motors Group of Naperville and DuPagePads have teamed up again for the sixth annual karting enduro, Drive for 75, for charity.  Up to 15 teams will compete in raising money for DuPagePads mission to end homelessness with a goal of reaching $75,000 by race day.  This year’s race will take place from 10AM to 2PM on Sunday, June 26at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL.

“As a motor sports enthusiast, the Drive for 75 provides a unique niche of like-minded gear heads an opportunity to make a big difference to end homelessness while having a ridiculous amount of fun (much better than a typical fundraiser),” stated long-time Drive for 75 participant, Patrick Gniadek in a news release.

Over the past 5 years this event has raised more than $400,000, all going toward housing programs and support services for those who are homeless.

Space is limited to 15 participating teams and only a few spots remain. Organizers ask participants “to give their all in helping achieve the $75,000 goal.”

The minimum fundraising goal per team is $2,500 and to reach this goal they are given their own fundraising webpage to make collecting donations quick, secure and convenient.

“The teams are competitive on the course, but even more so in their fundraising for DuPagePads.  At the end of the race day, everyone will walk away a little tired, but more importantly, proud of what their efforts have accomplished for this organization,” Joel Weinberger said, who also serves as DuPagePads Board of Directors Vice Chair.

Racing advantages will be given to top fundraising teams. For more information, or to register, contact Kariann at (630) 682-3846, ext.2290 or KLazansky@dupagepads.org.
