Naperville Community TV announces new board officers

New NCTV17 LogoNaperville Community Television, Channel 17 (NCTV17) has announced new officers for its Board of Directors.

In a unanimous vote at its March meeting, the Board of Directors elected Patrick Branham, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Collegis Education, LLC as the new president of the board. He previously held the office of NCTV17 Board Treasurer. Branham is succeeding outgoing president, Tom Carroll, Executive Vice President at RR Donnelley, who is stepping off the board after guiding them for the past five years.

“I am excited about the prospect of leading the board as the organization continues to expand its presence within the community, whether through new programming, additional online platforms or opportunities to involve the community in unique fundraising events like the recent Game On! pilot,” said Branham.

The Board of Directors also elected Michele Hilger, Sales Counselor and Community Outreach Coordinator at Monarch Landing, as Vice President and Gerry Cassioppi, Managing Partner at Nyberg & Cassioppi, Attorneys & Counselors At Law, as Treasurer.

Hilger will assume the role previously held by Kamala Martinez, Community Relations Director at RR Donnelley, who like Carroll is stepping off the board after serving two full terms. Cassioppi succeeds Branham in the role of Board Treasurer.

“Michele and Gerry have both been very active since joining the board,” said Branham. “I am very fortunate to have their experience and enthusiasm as a part of the Executive Committee as I transition into my new role.”

Other current members of the board of directors are Matt Eastman, Laura Gaskill, Shirley Hill, Janice Miller, Alan Leis, Chad Pedigo, Dean Reschke, Council members Rebecca Boyd-Obarski and John Krummen. Cable representatives are Libby Colon-Pawlick (WOW) and Tony Signorella (Comcast).
