Stroll the grounds of Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., and experience a showcase of holiday lights from 5 to 9PM Thursdays through Saturdays from Friday, November 27 through Thursday, December 31. Consider a brisk walk along the lamp-lighted path at Naper Settlement before attending one of the other shows Friday or Saturday evening during the holidays.

DanceWest Ballet performs The Nutcracker ballet in its entirety – come see this family classic filled with artistry and humor and performed by international guest artists and local area children. Let It Be Christmas: The Gospel According to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, George & Ringo Returning for its eighth smash year, Let It Be Christmas (The Gospel According to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, George, and Ringo) is Epic Theatre Company’s original Beatles rock-opera nativity story told in two acts. Guests are invited to follow Mary and Joseph down ‘the long and winding road’ to Bethlehem as a full band and ensemble uses the timeless music of The Beatles to tell the greatest story of all time. It’s a production that’s so full of Beatles classics, and with so many outstanding performances, fans return to see it again and again. Another performance will be staged at 7:30PM Saturday. Organic Theater Company presents: Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol – 7:30PM | $20-$30

You probably know Jacob Marley as the ghostly former business partner of Ebeneezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol. In Organics production of the award winning play by Chicago’s Tom Mula, we follow Marley in a story of his own. Along with a cheery sprite named Bogle, Marley travels through space and time, revealing a new side to the holiday classic. As it turns out, behind Scrooges adventure, Jacob Marley also visits boyhood struggles, modern day merriment, and a glimpse of whats yet to come. Share in the joy of Marleys fresh start by joining Marley and Bogle on their hilarious and touching journey.  Five performances will be staged at 7PM Dec. 10-12 and at 2PM Dec. 12-13 in North Central College’s theatre at Meiley-Swallow Hall, 31 S. Downers Grove, IL Chicagolands premier mens four-part harmony group, the West Towns Chorus, will once again grace the historic Tivoli Theatre’s newly-expanded stage for their annual holiday show, entitled The Heart of Christmas. This years program features traditional holiday favorites as well as new tunes. Show times are Saturday, December 12 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM and Sunday, December 13 at 2PM. The Tivoli Theatre is located at 5021 Highland Avenue in downtown Downers Grove. Tickets for premium seating are $27 per person; discounts available for groups of 10 or more, students with ID and children 12 and under. All seating is reserved. The West Towns Chorus is the Chicagoland West Suburban chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Many of their quartets have placed in the top ranks of the Illinois district and have place highly in international competitions.
