Today’s grilling will be repeated every Saturday and Sunday with lunchtime favorites until the fall season ends. The 30th Annual Riverwalk Fine Art Fair will be held from 10AM to 5PM on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20. The fair, which will showcase sculptures and artwork commissioned by Naperville’s Century Walk committee, will be held on Jackson Avenue between Main and Eagle streets and along Naperville’s Riverwalk. This year we are celebrating the fall harvest and raising money for Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora with a scarecrow contest. Vote for your favorite scarecrow and for every vote the scarecrows receive we will donate $1 to Wayside Cross Ministries. We will also be donating the proceeds from the hayrides and everyone can bring in extra produce to donate to the Wayside Cross kitchens. Wayside Cross Ministries provides shelter, counseling and aid to men, women, youth and children in the greater Chicagoland area. Schedule of Activities: noon-4PM – Face painting; 1-5PM – Interactive music show with the Dona Benkert Trio; All Day–Hayrides, pumpkin painting, crafts for kids, and games Enjoy delicious donuts and smoothies from Dick’s Mini Donuts and tasty hot dogs from Heavenly Hot Dog Cart. Plus–fresh-picked, roasted corn! Sunday, Sept 20 at 3PM Flying Fox Conservation Fund will bring the zoo to us with their hands on ‘Mammals and More’ program!

Flock to Naper Settlement for a fun day of wild and woolly activities from 1 to 4PM Sunday, Sept. 20, including sheepdog herding demonstrations at 1:45PM and 2:45PM at Naper Settlement. See knitting and drop spindle demonstrations, a make-it-take-it station and more. All activities are included with paid admission: $12 adults, $10 seniors (62+) and $8 youth ages 4-12.
