Naperville Central senior running backs Luke Brady and Jeremiah Wiggins 

The senior duo of Luke Brady and Jeremiah Wiggins helped No. 4 Naperville Central overcome a halftime deficit against Metea Valley on the way to posting a 27-7 victory. Brady and Wiggins ran a combined 31 times for 193 yards and two TDs on the ground for the Redhawks. Brady’s 36-yard TD run in the third put Naperville Central up for good. On the year, Brady has 223 yards and three touchdowns while Wiggins has 128 rushing yards and one TD.

Defensive Player of the Week

Neuqua Valley junior safety Isaiah Robertson

Isaiah Robertson was at the right place at the right time for Neuqua Valley to help turn the tide against No. 20 Waubonsie Valley. With the Warriors driving in the third quarter and looking to trim a 14-0 deficit in half, Robertson caught a ball that went off a receiver’s hands, intercepting it and returning it 93 yards for a pick-six and a 21-0 Neuqua Valley lead. The Wildcats would go on to win 28-7 to claim their 13th victory all-time against the Warriors.
