The 16th annual Singing for Seniors will take the stage at 3PM on Sat., Oct. 3, at its new location, Community Christian Church (The Yellow Box), at the intersection of Rickert and Ogden across from Fair Oaks Ford. Seniors are invited to sit back, relax and enjoy and an afternoon concert designed just for them. The church offers ample parking and is handicap accessible.
Once again, show organizers promise 90-minutes of great music and entertainment featuring the premier accapella jazz octet INVOX from Chicago, the hometown favorites Naperville Men’s Glee Club and the Summer Place Singers with their tribute to 1950/1960 television.
The 2015 Singing for Seniors Performance Scholarship winner, “Sushi” Suresh from Metea Valley High School also will perform along with a few other musical surprises, sure to delight the crowd.
Singing for Seniors is a free event for people 55 and better. Free transportation is available for Naperville residents in need of a ride. Open seating, no tickets are necessary.
