Presented by Calamos Investments and Northwestern Mutual, the Naperville Wine Festival returns to Naperville’s CityGate Centre on Aug. 15-16, 2015.

With an expanded showcase of more than 300 wines from around the world, accompanied by live musical entertainment and delicious food, the 13th annual event also is a benefit for the Naperville Area Humane Society.

Attracting thousands of individuals to the spacious outdoor setting near the Hotel Arista, the two-day affair is an opportunity for wine lovers to learn to taste, judge and pair wines with their favorite foods.

“This year’s line-up brings some of the best wines from across the nation and the globe to our community,” said Scott Janess of KemperLesnik, organizer of the Naperville Wine Festival.

The two-day event will include tastings, expert and sommelier-led seminars, pairing tips, and more.

Wines will be selected from such favorites as 90+ Cellars, Bread & Butter, Bonterra Organic Vineyards, Cannonball Wine Company, Cass Winery, Duckhorn Winery, E. & J. Gallo Winery, Ethica Wines, Helwig Winery, Matchbook Wine Company, Martin Ray Winery, McManis Family Vineyards, Opolo Vineyard, Pali Wine Co. Peirano Estates, St. James Winery, The Other Guys, Trisaetum Winery, Vintage Wine Estates, Wente Vineyards, and others.

Janess expressed gratitude for the support his “must-attend event” has received from Calamos Investments and other sponsors such as Northwestern Mutual as he looks toward continuing this tradition for years to come for area wine lovers.

Festival-goers will have a chance to purchase signature dishes from such local spots as CityGate Grille, Eddie Merlot’s, Copper Oven Pizza and Karaikudi Indian Grill.

Local bands Sons of Bildor and the Personnel are set to play on Friday and Sons of Bildor and 97 Nine will perform on Saturday.
