My next dinning experience took me to another restaurant near Naperville’s beautiful Riverwalk.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse is located at 244 S, Main Street. We chose this location to celebrate Mother’s Day. It was the perfect place to celebrate my mom who has always been there for me.
For starters we chose a salad. I went with the classic Caesar salad, crisp romaine leaves, Parmesan, creamy Caesar dressing, and fresh croutons.
My mom and Brad split the iceberg wedge. vine ripe tomatoes, crumpled blue cheese, and blue cheese dressing. Both are a must have and were highly recommended by our friendly server.
For our main course my mom and I chose the 8 oz. filet mignon.
Brad ordered the 12 oz. New York strip Bourbonnais. All were cooked to perfection. The steaks were full-flavored and very tender.
For one of our sides we had the creamed corn, which was spectacular! The flavors of the corn and the cheeses melt in your mouth. For our second side, we chose the baked potato, dressed table side with sour cream and bacon.
This was a most enjoyable meal to celebrate my mom.
So next time you’re walking along the beautiful Riverwalk and you’re craving a hardy steak, stop into Sullivan’s and tell them Jack the foodie sent you. Enjoy.
