Spring is here and the sunshine feels oh-so-good! Not to rush through the glory of spring, but summer is just around the corner. If you are a parent you are already planning just how to balance those long, lazy days with no schedules and no structure. You might also be wondering just how long it will be before you hear the inevitable lament of summer, ‘I’m bored.’
Let WDSRA be your boredom buster! Your child can have a fun-filled summer with games, crafts, sports, swimming and fieldtrips. Let’s not forget about those special friendships that develop at summer camp. With WDSRA summer camps, children ages 3-21 can have a magical summer experience creating memories that will surely last beyond the dog days of summer.
WDSRA offers 10 different camps and fieldtrips every Friday throughout the summer. Some run all day. Others, in collaboration with Naperville School Districts 203 and 204, follow summer school schedules. Transportation is provided by the school districts directly to the camps.
While your child is making memories, you can feel secure knowing that they are in a supportive, nurturing environment focused on developing social skills, motor skills and community awareness. They are with camp counselors who are enthusiastic about working with your child and take their job of assuring your child has a fun summer seriously.
If Naperville Park District summer camps and programs are in your summer plans, WDSRA can provide inclusion support.
