The Exchange Club of Naperville will hold its Annual Allocation Lunch beginning at 11:30AM on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Meson Sabika, 1025 Aurora Ave.
This luncheon has become a tradition when the 50 agencies given funds from the club’s annual Ribfest tell their stories. This special event is always a very moving experience, making all those hot days working Ribfest all worthwhile.
The cost for guests at the Allocations lunch is $20, and $13.50 for members.
Then at 9AM on Sat., March 21, the Exchange Club of Naperville will host its One Nation Under God Breakfast, also at Meson Sabika. This annual breakfast is coordinated by the Americanism Committee.
The featured speaker this year is a Theodore Roosevelt impersonator.
The One Nation Under God Breakfast is a time when individuals, organizations and businesses will be presented prestigious awards for their outstanding acts of patriotism and contributions to the community.
Americanism has been called “The Heart of Exchange” because Exchange champions American ideals, and Exchange Clubs exist only on American soil. Exchange prides itself on its knowledge of American traditions, none less important than honoring the sacred American symbol – the flag. At the breakfast, individuals will be recognized for displaying the American Flag.
Both of these events are open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend and honor these outstanding agencies and individuals. RSVP by calling (630) 779-2702 by February 24 for the Allocations lunch and by March 9 for the One Nation Under God Breakfast.
The cost is $15 per person.
Payment for either event may be made at the event with cash or a check.
