Theatreworks USA will delight young audiences with two performances of “Curious George” at 10AM and 1PM Saturday, Feb. 28 at North Central College.

A brief overview
“Curious George” features the inquisitive, loveable little monkey, George—well-known star of books, movies and the award-winning PBS television show—as he comes to life on stage in this delightful new musical.
With every swing and flip, George takes the audience through a fun-filled adventure, involving a world-famous Golden Meatball contest, a trip to Rome and a determined mission to help a friend in need. “Curious George” captures everyone’s favorite monkey at his best, and provides viewers with an exciting and lighthearted musical experience.
A professional theatre company for young and family audiences, New York City-based Theatreworks USA’s mission is to create imaginative and thought-provoking shows that are educational and entertaining. “Curious George” is a new musical based on the books by Margaret and H.A. Rey and features a book by Jeremy Desmon with original music by John Kavanaugh.
