Joyce completed 13 of his 19 passes for 186 yards and three TDs in No. 4 Naperville Central’s 34-20 Class 8A state quarterfinal loss to No. 2 Simeon. Joyce finished the year by completing 58 percent of his passes for 1,285 yards and eight touchdowns.
