Nicki Anderson, President and CEO of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, has announced the nominations of the 17th Annual Small Business of the Year Awards (SBYA) to be recognized during festivities from 6-10PM Fri., May 30, at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. This year’s event will be sponsored by BMO Harris Bank.
Divided into six categories, the Small Business of the Year Awards will honor enterprises in Business to Business, Business to Consumer, Not-for-Profit, Minority Owned Business, Young Professional Business Owner, and Woman-Owned Business.
Chamber members nominate one another for the awards and the winners are selected by a panel of previous winners. During the May 30 gala, the finalists will be recognized and one winner from each category will be announced. From that group, one winner will be named The Small Business of the Year for 2014.
