Mother Nature cooperated as Goo Goo Doll fans packed Rotary Hill Saturday night at the Naperville Jaycees Last Fling. The annual community supported summer ending festival raises money to benefit local charities.
According to Jaycees President Kevin Piket, an estimated 8,400 people packed Rotary Hill for the Goo Goo Dolls concert, not including the large audiences in the Sponsor Tent or at the base of the Carillon. Rotary Hill was nearly at capacity. Severe thunderstorms Friday night played havoc with many Last Fling activities and canceled area high school football games.
