2013 Naperville Ale Fest showcases craft beer while supporting the community
Beer enthusiasts will have hundreds of reasons to celebrate this summer when Naperville hosts its inaugural craft beer festival.
Lou Dog Events, a Naperville festival production and management company, will host the 2013 Naperville Ale Fest, Sat., July 20, on the grounds of Naper Settlement. The one-day event will feature food, live music and more than 180 different beers from some of America’s finest craft breweries.
“The goal of the Naperville Ale Fest is to showcase American craft beer while supporting the Naperville community,” said Josh Seago, co-founder of the festival along with local entrepreneurs Mike Peters and Judy Phillip.
More than 75 breweries will showcase a variety of craft beers. From a pale ale to a stout – and everything in between – there will be something for the novice and craft beer aficionado.
“It’s going to be an opportunity to sample a wide variety of craft beers and really find out what styles and what breweries you like,” Seago said.
Tickets go on sale March 6 and are $45 (general admission) and $75 (VIP admission). Designated driver tickets are available for $15 (general admission) and $25 (VIP admission).
A portion of festival proceeds will be donated to Naper Settlement.
