In recognition of Valentine’s Day, a special day when thoughts turn to the special people in our lives and how much we love them, St. Patrick’s Residence Nursing and Rehabilitation hosted its 10th Annual Valentine Luncheon.
The luncheon is set for couples who live at St. Patrick’s or who have spouses who live outside the facility. It’s a special day to celebrate their lasting affection in a lovely and romantic way. Nine couples, representing 502 years of love, enjoyed a delicious menu, beautiful table settings and the soft tones of classical guitarist, Adam Huff, organizers said.
Audrey and Robert Lisk, pictured here, have been married for 54 years.
“This is such a beautiful luncheon,” said Audrey Lisk, who enjoyed the afternoon with her husband. “We look forward to it. It’s a lovely way to spend time together.”
Every couple spent the holiday in a way that brought back many endearing memories.
St. Patrick’s Residence is a not-for-profit, 210-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility, which is served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm. St. Patrick’s is located at 1400 Brookdale Rd. in Naperville.
