Happy new year to all of our Naperville friends and neighbors. We’ve had such a delightful holiday season filled with joy, togetherness, and connection. Thank you again to everyone who joined us last December at our Naperville Mayor’s Interfaith Breakfast. We had such an amazing time “dreaming big” (our theme!) alongside local leaders and esteemed guests.
Here at the Fry Family YMCA, we have some exciting news to kick off the heart of the winter season: our newly improved pool is now open for community use. We spent the second half of December deep cleaning and upgrading the space so that everyone has an amazing experience. Improvements include a brand new dehumidification system, freshly painted walls and swim lanes, polished stainless steel, and so much more.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone for their patience and understanding during this process. We truly cannot emphasize how great the space looks. The only way to truly experience it is to, well, experience it, of course!
And there’s no better time to take full advantage of the Fry Family Y’s heated pool and fantastic aquatic offerings than during the Naperville winter. Not only does swimming offer a full body workout, but taking a few laps can also help manage stress and boost your mood (a huge plus as the days get colder and grayer). We offer a variety of swim lessons for all ages and stages; amazing aquatic workout classes; and open swim when anyone can dive on in. We also have Swim League for youth, where we prepare for the summer competitive season. Plus, our hot tub, sauna, and steam rooms are perfect for fighting off any lingering chills.
