NJWC Trick or Treat at Safety Town

-

Update, Oct. 21, 2023 / Hundreds of youngsters in costumes entered the gates of Safety Town to enjoy games and activities just for the fun of it—and a few tips regarding safe trick or treating on Halloween. The Naperville Junior Woman’s Club again hosted its annual Trick or Treat event at which time families were welcomed to donate much-appreciated nonperishable items for Loaves & Fishes.

During PN’s brief visit about 10:15AM, kids dressed as first responders caught the attention of photographers.

Members of the Naperville Junior Woman’s Club welcomed kids as they stopped at the entrance to donate to Loaves & Fishes.
A little firefighter was eager to join the festivities on the other side of the fence at Safety Town.
When her brother attired as a firefighter turned shy for the camera, the little sister donned his helmet.
Sweet!
Thanks to CADETS, kids in costume crossed River Road safely.
If headed north or south on River Road between 9 and noon on Oct. 21, local CADETS were keeping vehicles in check and families safe at the entrance to the the Public Safety Campus.
All donations, this day and every day, to Loaves & Fishes Community Services are appreciated. For more information, visit loaves-fishes.org.
