Original Post, Jan. 4, 2022 / The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce (NACC) has voted Adrian Aldrich, Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement at North Central College in Naperville, as the Chair-Elect for the Board of Directors.
“Adrian has served with grace and vision on the executive board and throughout his term as a NACC board member,” noted current Chair of the Board and Naperville resident Christina Caton Kitchel, who is a partner with Caton Commercial. “His energy, drive and experience will help to continue to move our chamber’s mission and vision forward.”
Also a Naperville resident, Aldrich is now in his second term on the NACC Board of Directors and has served on several committees of the NACC Board including Workforce Development, Governance, and Finance.
“It’s a privilege to be part of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce’s leadership team and I am honored to continue to serve our thriving business community, alongside Christina, as the Chair-Elect,” added Aldrich. “I am confident that our Chamber will remain relevant as we serve the needs of our members and the greater Naperville area business community.”
The NACC Board of Directors is noted as a self-perpetuating group of highly committed professionals who work tirelessly toward a common goal of moving business forward as part of an engaged, thriving community and advocating on behalf of the greater Naperville area businesses.

In addition to Aldrich, Kitchel and the NACC will welcome five new Board members in January 2022, including Mike Calabrese from Calabrese Associates, P.C.; “Mortgage” Matt Doyle from Team Doyle Hulsey CrossCountry Mortgage; Ray Krouse from Sikich; Mario Lambert from Populus Group; and Dr. Cathy Subber from Advanced Health of Naperville & The Branch.
Current members of the NACC board are Shafeek Abubaker from Med Supply Place Inc.; Nate Alberty from Sunbelt Rentals, Inc.; Mike Blanton from BMO Harris Bank; Gabe Chavez from NorthStar Wealth Group; Sharmila Fowler from The Red Lion Institute; Christine Jeffries from Naperville Development Partnership (NDP); Sean LaFortune from Wipfli, Derek McDaniel from Merrill Lynch; Jason Nagel from Naperville Bank and Trust; Yvette Saba from Edward-Elmhurst Health; Leah Setzen from Grunyk Family Law; Ashley Shi from Office Evolution, Heather Street from Navistar; Dave Surina from Nicor Gas; Danielle Tufano from the Downtown Naperville Alliance (DNA); Karen Wells from Bridge Communities; and Mark Willis from PNC Bank.
Kitchel finishes her term in December 2022 and will transition her role to Aldrich, who will assume the role of NACC’s Chair of the Board until 2024. Members of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors serve a three-year term.

Original Post / The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Gala from 7PM to 11PM, Fri., Jan. 28. This year’s event is titled “It’s Magic!” Festivities will be held at Embassy Suites | Naperville, located at 1823 Abriter Court.
It’s Magic! welcomes guests to enter a world of sleight of hand, illusions, and magical wonder, organizers said. Guests will be entertained and awestruck throughout the evening while mingling and playing casino games.
The evening-long cocktail reception will feature gourmet food stations, live entertainment, and dancing.
Tickets are $200 per individual.
