Little Friends – A time to give thanks!

-

With the way 2020 has gone, it seems incredible that the holiday season is coming quickly. Thanksgiving, in particular, is a favorite for so many and yet many of us are trying to determine how to celebrate this wonderful day.

While we may not be able to be with all of our friends and loved ones compared to years past, our appreciation for the opportunity to give thanks remains strong.

At Little Friends, we have a lot for which to be thankful.

After over two years working through the processes related to selling our Naperville campus, we will be able to sell the property to Ram West Capital and DJK Custom Homes. Their planned development for townhomes that includes the retention of the old Mansion property will be a significant improvement for the community.

Assuming all goes to plan, we hope to be moving to a newly renovated facility at the end of this December.

Over the time we have been working to secure approvals to do this, nearly 1,200 people provided their time and gave their support to help our organization. On behalf of the children who will benefit from a new school and facility, their families, and our employees who will operate in a state-of-the-art school, thank you for all that you did to help us!

What happened would not have occurred without your support, and it is important that you know how much we truly appreciate your assistance.

On behalf of Little Friends, I hope that you and your family have a safe and healthy holiday season. As crazy as this year has been, it is important to remember what’s important and family is right at the top of that list!

Happy Thanksgiving!
