Recently, the Naperville based car dealership purchased several thousand dollars’ worth of gift cards from the Downtown Naperville Alliance that are accepted at retailers and restaurants in downtown Naperville. They are donating the gift cards to families and organizations in need throughout the greater Naperville community.
Last week, Bill Jacobs Volkswagen dropped off $1,000 of Downtown Naperville gift cards to the Ronald McDonald House in Winfield, near Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital. It was perfect timing, as the families currently staying there have not had meal services due to the suspension of meal volunteers.
The gift cards will provide the ability for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House to purchase meals at downtown Naperville eateries.
Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission is to help families get better together. With the help of the local community, they provide lodging for families with children in the hospital – keeping families together, and providing a comfortable, warm, and loving home away from home.
Downtown Naperville gift cards make great gifts for friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches, for anyone at any time – according to the Downtown Naperville Alliance website. The gift cards can be used at over 165-plus retailers and restaurants, many of which are independently owned and operated.
