Pick up American Flags 9AM to Noon at Riverwalk Café

Individuals and families who purchased Healing Field flags may pick them up from Rotary Hill or the Riverwalk Café today, Sat., Nov. 16, from 9AM to noon.

Thanks to Healing Field of Honor Committee & Volunteers

Again, many thanks to all for the magnificent tribute to honor all Veterans timed with Veterans Day.

Displaying 2,019 American flags on Rotary Hill created a stunning tribute to our military and their families while also raising money through Operation Support Our Troops-America to assist veterans and their families.

This year’s theme, “Remembering a Century of Heroes and Heritage,” commemorated three historic events: the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Versailles (effectively ending World War I), the 100th anniversary of the formation of the American Legion and the 75th anniversary of the founding of Naperville’s Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873.
