Person of interest in custody after stabbing

Naperville Police are currently conducting a death investigation on the 700 block of Inland Circle on the city’s northwest side. Police were called to a report of a disturbance at a residence at approximately 8:45PM on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Upon arrival, officers located a 54-year-old male deceased from an apparent knife wound. Police do not believe this was a random act, and a person of interest is currently in custody. There is no threat to the public. The investigation into this incident continues.
