The annual Chords for Kids Concert, a special event for children with special needs, is scheduled to begin at 7PM Sat., March 2, at Wentz Concert Hall.
This performance is where music and motion come together to bring unique experience to all – and wigglers are welcome. It’s an all-around family-friendly affair. All families and all ages are invited to enjoy the music, ranging from classical pieces to popular tunes.
This year music also will include memorable tunes from SpongeBob Squarepants, Disney songs and “YMCA.”
The audience will be treated to a special guest appearance by Chippy, the North Central College Mascot.
The College’s Concert Winds and Symphony Band will perform, under the direction of professor of music Lawrence Van Oyen. Wheelchair seating is available.
