Updates Jan. 22 & 23

If any other cancellations are received from the community, we’ll update this page. Unfortunately, time does not permit our searching for all cancellations, so we appreciate residents’ help keeping the community informed. Thanks.

At 3:30PM Jan. 22, we noted District 204 buses letting off students who are having a tough time navigating the icy sidewalks as they slip and slide.

By 9:30PM Jan. 22, the temperature was just above freezing and raining. The forecast is for mid-30s with possible light rain/sleet on Wednesday before dipping down into the 20s on Thursday and even more frigid Friday and through the weekend.

Early Jan. 23 the temperature was a little less than expected and a light snow was dusting sidewalks that had been cleared Tuesday evening. Drive carefully.
