NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Naperville Police have arrested two men in connection with multiple motor vehicle burglaries that have been committed in the northwest portion of Naperville over the past few weeks.
Isacc Springwater
Isacc Springwater, 18, of the 1500 block of Bond Street in Naperville, is charged with one count of burglary, a Class 2 felony; one count of battery, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of resisting a peace officer, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony.
Major Gilmore III
Major Gilmore III, 18, of the 100 block of Edgebrook Drive in Pasedena, Texas, is charged with three counts of burglary, a Class 2 felony, and one count of resisting a peace officer, a Class A misdemeanor.
At approximately 4AM on July 28, 2018, Naperville Police Officers were called to the area of IL Route 59 and Paxton Drive for a report of two subjects attempting to break into a residence. While searching the area, officers located Springwater and Gilmore, who fled from police and were apprehended shortly thereafter.
The subsequent investigation revealed that Springwater and Gilmore are responsible for four motor vehicle burglaries committed in the northwest part of Naperville over the past few weeks.
The Naperville Police Department would like to remind you to always lock your homes and vehicles and to never leave keys, purses, wallets, phones or other valuables in your vehicle, even if it’s locked. These simple actions will significantly decrease the likelihood that you will be burglarized.
The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
