Community Development Block Grant and Social Services Grant Pre-Application Workshop set for August 24

Above / Interested groups are encouraged to attend the Grant Pre-Application Workshop planned from 10AM to Noon for Thurs., Aug. 24, at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street, lower level.

 NAPERVILLE, Ill. — On Thursday, August 24, 2017, the City of Naperville will host a Pre-Application Workshop and Information Session for its 2018 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Social Services (SSG) programs. The session will be held from 10AM to Noon in Meeting Room A of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.

Topics to be covered include an overview of both programs and their priorities along with eligibility, funding criteria, the application process, submission requirements and deadlines. Please note that applications are due by noon on Friday, September 22, 2017.

Any resident with an interest in CDBG and SSG programs and the funding process is welcome to attend this workshop. Although it is not mandatory, organizations interested in applying for grant funds are strongly encouraged to attend.
